Teams is part of Microsoft Office 365. It provides a way to communicate, collaborate, and share with colleagues online, in groups (eg project teams), or simply ad-hoc meetings or one-to-one. This course covers best practices in the use of Teams to drive effective communications and collaboration using this powerful tool.
This course is designed for end users of Microsoft Teams. You do not have to have any prior knowledge or experience of Teams.
Introduction to Microsoft Teams
Review of the interface and navigation and a summary of the features and benefits of using Teams.
Setting up Online Conversations
This module will cover the use of Chat, Contacts, messaging, file sharing, and document editing in Microsoft Teams.
Making Calls using MS Teams
During this module we will cover using the Calls tab, making & receiving calls, and the additional call functions.
Collaborating in Microsoft Teams
This section covers the use of the Teams tab and how you can collaborate with other users including file sharing.
Organising meetings in Teams
This module will cover how to create new teams, organise existing teams, and using the scheduling assistant.
Advanced Options for Microsoft Teams Users
Why and how to use Shifts and how and when to use the Planner function in Microsoft Teams.
During the day we will also cover best practices in using Teams, including the use of Team clients, searching for documents, call etiquette and screen sharing.

Private classroom-based courses are available from £590 plus VAT
Online one-to-one and group training is available from £250 + VAT (three hours) or £450 + VAT for a full day (6 hours)

Private classroom-based Microsoft Teams courses are available from £690 + VAT.
These courses are ideal if you have cannot make one of the set course dates or if you want a different course outline/focus or if you are booking larger numbers onto a course.
If you are booking more than 4 delegates onto a course we would run this as a private training course
Normally these courses are run on Microsoft Teams (of course!) but classroom-based training can be held at your premises anywhere throughout the UK or held at our training centres in Manchester, Leeds & Birmingham

The Online MS Teams courses are run on Zoom.
You will be sent a link to join the training session the day before the course along with any course materials needed.
The courses run from 9:30 am to 4/4:30 pm.
Because we limit the number of delegates to a maximum of 6 on our public courses specific timings are flexible, but generally, the day will run as follows:
