Training Design Course

If you are in a position where you have to either plan or develop a training programme for others, whether it is your team or the staff of an organisation, this course is for you.

This 1-day Training Course Design course will give you the practical skills and knowledge to create engaging and successful training programmes tailored to your delegate's needs.

It can be taken as a stand-alone course or as a follow-up to our Train the Trainer course which is focused on delivering training.

Through a series of practical exercises, you will learn how to identify the training needs, develop course content and set objectives through to creating supporting documentation, room set up and measuring effectiveness.

The course is limited to 6 delegates allowing you plenty of interaction with the trainer and tailoring the content to your own experiences.

You will gain practical skills to take back to the workplace and implement straight away.

You will be given a delegate manual to complete during the course and to take away for your reference as well as 3 month online support for any follow up questions.

By the end of the course you will:

• Understand the training course design process
• Appreciate the importance of logical structure
• Know how to engage and test delegates
• Have the ability to produce supporting documents to assist in the delivery of a training session
• Recognise how visual aids effectively help transfer information
• Be able to identify the ways to evaluate the effectiveness of your course
• Be able to explain how to give feedback so as to develop the delegate’s understanding

Our 5-star rated Training programme design courses are practical courses with small class sizes, and a maximum of 6 delegates, allowing plenty of time to interact with the trainer and ask questions!
