She is a Meta Certified Digital Marketing Associate and works with businesses, agencies and in-house teams to strengthen their performance across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok.
Sam began her career as a journalist, writing for industry titles including PR Week, Campaign and British Baker, before moving into broadcast media with Sky News.
At Sky, she became a lead on the social media team, delivering live coverage of major news events such as Brexit and the 2016 US presidential election.
She also launched and managed the social channels for The Pledge, Sky’s weekly panel show, building its digital presence from the ground up.
In the years that followed, Sam moved into senior social and digital roles at Citypress, THG (The Hut Group), and Manchester Metropolitan University.
Most recently, she was Head of Social & Digital at St Pierre Groupe, where she led content, strategy and performance for a portfolio of FMCG brands.
Now working independently, Sam provides training and consultancy focused on organic and paid social media, influencer campaigns, content development and analytics.
Sam also co-runs the social media channels for The Baton of Hope UK, mental health charity, pro-bono to help raise awareness around suicide prevention as well as helping to develop their marketing strategy for their second UK tour and their recently launched Workplace Pledge initiative.
