Develop an Inclusive Culture Through Practical ED&I Training

A diverse and inclusive workplace is essential for staff wellbeing, team performance, and organisational success.

  • The Role of Stereotyping & Unconscious Bias

    • Witches of Glum’ exercise to illustrate how easy it is to make assumptions and form stereotypes
    • Understanding stereotyping and prejudice:
    •  - When can this occur?
    •  - What are the impacts of this?
    • Understanding the different types of biases and find out how they can occur in the workplace
    • The session will conclude by identifying how to challenge, prevent and remove areas of unconscious bias

     

    Making the Learning Real

    • Case studies and scenarios will be used to work through some more challenging situations
    • Both self-reflection and an environment of challenge and support will be encouraged, where questions can be asked of the trainer and each other

Bespoke ED&I Training Courses

Our 5-star rated Diversity & Inclusion course is currently only available as private group & one to one courses, so that we can tailor the course contents to your needs & pre-existing knowledge.

They are practical and interactive courses with small class sizes, this allows for plenty of time to interact with the trainer and ask any questions you have. As such, we advise a maximum of 10 delegates on a course.

This is a 1-day course that usually runs from 9:30 am to 4/4:30 pm.

Delegates receive a certificate of completion, detailed course notes and 3 months of online support.

We run private one-to-one and group training at our training centre in Manchester, at your premises or at a location to suit you, anywhere in the UK.
